NoviOcean: Revolutionizing Offshore Energy

Powering Norway's Renewable Offshore Future.

Current offshore operations (aquaculture, O&G) rely on costly, less sustainable power.

NoviOcean's Solution: Our Triple-Hybrid (Wave, Wind, Solar) Energy Converter thrives in deep waters. It uses a Pelton turbine (like Norwegian Hydropower) for clean wave energy.

Key Benefits:

  • Reduced battery need
  • Higher energy density (3-6x wind)
  • Less sea area used
  • 850 kW electricity + 70,000L water
  • Up to 50% lower costs (CAPEX & LCOE)

Partner with Us:

Seeking launch pilots & partners in aquaculture, offshore infrastructure, O&G, and utilities. NoviOcean could be “THE SOLUTION” for future offshore energy. The global potential is vast.

SEAL OF EXCELLENCE

Multi-Purpose Energy Delivery

Electricity Production

Converting produced energy into electricity through an ultra-efficient system. Delivering stable and predictable power output by combining with solar and wind, ensuring cost-effective renewable energy. Adding tidal energy in relevant locations.

Hydrogen Production

Enabling offshore electrolysis to produce green hydrogen at sea—reducing fossil fuel dependence and supporting a sustainable energy transition for industry and transport. (For future deployments)

Desalination Production

By utilizing the high-pressure flow from the wave energy converter system directly, desalinated water is efficiently produced onboard through reverse osmosis, making the conversion exceptionally cost-and energy-efficient.

Battery Storage

Storing electricity in integrated or external battery systems, providing the needed energy supply exactly when needed, also supporting grid resilience.

The NoviOcean System: Cost-Efficient & Flexible Power

A unique system combining 4 different functions to generate power and/or clean water, making it the most cost-efficient and flexible solution.

🌊

Wave Power

One of the most efficient wave power solutions available, using known technologies and components, making it extremely cost efficient and robust compared to competitors.

💨

Wind Power

Using the float as holder of wind turbines, and the shape of the float to increase the efficiency of the turbines, making it an efficient, cost-optimized and robust additional energy source.

☀️

Solar Power

Using the float as holder of also PV panels, complements in areas with good sun intensity. This add-on ensures that NoviOcean always produces energy, even in rare low wave/wind conditions.

🌀

Tidal Power (Future)

Using the float as holder of submerged tidal turbines, leveraging the predictable energy of tidal currents to generate more electricity efficiently. (In some locations, and for future deployments)

Eight Sectors for NoviOcean Technology

  • Eliminating 1,000,000 liters of diesel consumption per unit / 2,700 tons of CO2e annually
  • Electricity production of 2,500 MWh / Year, or desalination of 70-100,000 liters of water / hour
  • 2-3 times higher output per sea area than offshore wind, 4 times more through co-location
